Xiaomi Unveils Official Version of Surge OS for Mi 14 Series and Redmi K60至尊版
Xiaomi has announced that the official version of its Surge OS is now available for testing on Mi 14/Pro/Ultra and Redmi K60至尊版 devices.
The update includes numerous improvements, such as enhanced speed, optimized animations, and new features. User feedback has been positive, with reports of significant improvements in smoothness.
Xiaomi has also adjusted its release strategy for Surge OS. To enhance quality, they will replace the current Developer Edition with a new Beta version.
Surge OS will now have two versions: a Beta version for early adopters and a stable version for all users.
The Beta version offers seamless upgrades and greater flexibility.
Seamless Upgrades: Beta users can upgrade to the stable version without losing data and receive official updates.
Increased Flexibility: Beta releases will be based on project needs, allowing for more agile updates.
Xiaomi plans to discontinue Developer Edition releases in August 2024. Current users will be able to upgrade to the stable version without data loss.
